Friends While Traveling

One of the many great things about group travel has to be the people. It forces you to meet people, who you may never meet otherwise, from around the world and around the country. You're together for a trip, making memories that will help shape each of your lives on whatever path you take, and wherever life takes you. When the trip is over, you're guaranteed to have a few new friends, whom you've bonded with for the duration of the trip, and saying goodbye can be hard. Luckily in todays world, goodbyes dont have to be so hard with the social world we live in.

Forgetting these new friends would mean forgetting that trip to Paris, bungee jumping in Costa Rica, eating weird foods, and seeing the world. Those friends, no matter how close you remain, will always be a part of your life. The memories made will be there, and there will always be a special bond. After all, there really is nothing like being dropped in a foreign land with people that you dont know. Its that feeling of knowing that these are the people that are going to help you, watch your back, be there, explore with you, and experience with you that makes you almost instantly become friends with every single one of them. Then, no matter how far apart you are, no matter where in the world they are or you are, you will be able to experience more things with them, or thanks to them. From visiting a friend from a trip, to watching them travel someplace, and then being able to talk to them about a trip you are planning to that location.

The memories you make with these new friends are unlike any other. You're in a foreign county, or at least away from home. You're seeing the sights, seeing the nightlife, exploring, getting lost, and lounging with them. Sadly it does all has to come to an end at some point, and everyone will have to return from vacation to work or school. And you could be thousands of miles apart, or just a few hours. You may never see them again, and you may never talk again. It's a sad truth, but you will never forget them.

Keep that connection, plan more trips, and meet more friends along the way. After all "Life is about the memories you make, with the people you meet along the way."
